L’ART DU HAMMAM

Le hammam est un patrimoine millénaire. Il est un espace de bien-être du corps, lieu de pratiques rituelles, et une institution sociale. L’importance du hammam vient du fait qu’il induit une culture et un savoir-vivre corporel. Il y a tout un art de se baigner au hammam. La baigneuse s’y rend avec tout un équipement: un sceau dans lequel sont disposés des objets comme tassa, mhekka, peigne (machta), savon noir, ghassoul, souak, henné, huiles, miroir, parfum... Les produits de beauté traditionnels étaient préparés à domicile.
